Extended deadline for abstract submission

Please note that due to the MeCCSA conference taking place this week, we have agreed to extend the deadline for submissions to the MEC2011 symposium.

The deadline for abstract submissions is now Monday 17 January 2011.

Please submit abstracts of no more than 150 words by Monday 17 January, 2011 using the online form or via email to Einar Thorsen at ethorsen@bournemouth.ac.uk. Please include a title, full institutional affiliation, and five key words.

About MeCCSA-CCES

The MeCCSA Climate Change, Environment and Sustainability Network exists to strengthen the ability of MeCCSA and its members to respond to and lead the worldwide academic contribution to understanding media, communication and cultural studies where they meet issues of climate change, environment and sustainable development.

The network will do this by continually encouraging MeCCSA and its members to conduct research and seek interventions that account for the sustainability of its impact.
