Dr Genoveva Esteban talk on ‘Cryptic biodiversity: microscopic life, out of sight out of mind’ successfully launched the School of Applied Sciences Research Seminar series, on Tuesday 11th October.
Amongst other things she discussed the remarkable fact that the species of the smallest aquatic life forms are distributed globally and are often present in many environments in a dormant state. The latter highlighting the cryptic nature of these life forms.
