Join us for the first in a series of three seminars in London looking at areas where Bournemouth University researchers are developing new understandings of trends and issues.
Alumni including journalists and other media professionals, policy-makers, researchers, public authority and civic stakeholders are all invited to the Media School’s first ‘Frontlines of Research’ seminar.
At this informal event Bournemouth researchers will present some of their work and invite discussion of its implications for the practice of journalists and for other stakeholders in some major areas of policy and practice. Entry is free and all are welcome, but registration is essential.
This seminar, entitled ‘Emotional news: journalists, trauma and audiences’ will be held at the Frontline Club in London on the evening of Tuesday 29 May.
Further seminars focusing on ’Politics and audiences’ and ‘Political extremism and the media’ follow in June and July.

I’d like to be included. I twice regulated the MA course for Andrew Ireland (2006/2009) and taught the BATVs and MAPPs
