About Jeff Dodds:
Jeff joined Virgin in March 2009 as Director of Brand and Marketing, and Executive Creative Director for its television channels. In this role, he oversaw all on- and off-air marketing, and was responsible for full on-air rebrands of the LIVING, Virgin1 and Bravo channels. He then moved into a corporate role with Virgin Media, as Director of Internal Communications and Employee Engagement last year, prior to the sale of the TV channels to Sky in June 2010.
Before joining Virgin, Jeff spent five years at Honda, where he headed up the marketing function, and oversaw many high profile TV campaigns. During his time at Honda they were actively involved in sponsoring Formula1, British Superbikes and Powerboat racing. Previously, he spent two years as the Director of Brand and Marketing for Callaway Golf, where he was responsible for marketing, public relations, European product development and activating the sponsorship of many high profile players such as Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson.
Virgin Media are sponsors of the VFestival, one of the UK’s biggest music festivals and a few months ago announced their sponsorship of Britain’s Got Talent, one of the most popular shows on TV. Most recently, Jeff has been involved with Virgin’s newest campaign featuring Usain Bolt and Sir Richard Branson to introduce a new brand-line ‘Keep Up’.
About Jackie Fast:
Jackie Fast, Managing Director of Slingshot, will be talking about all aspects of the agency side of sponsorship and her experiences of managing this dynamic sector.
